Before SustainHealth Academy, accessing direct lineage teaching meant travelling internationally. The world's leading Acupuncture systems — Dr Tan's Balance Method, Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture, Neuro-Meridian Acupuncture, Tung's Acupuncture — were largely taught in Asia and North America. For Australian and European Acupuncturists, attending meant significant cost, weeks of planning, and extended time away from the clinic.
Dr Scott Ling founded SustainHealth Academy in 2018 to solve that problem. Not by creating a diluted version for the local market — but by bringing the actual lineage holders here. Every SustainHealth Academy curriculum is designed to produce results in the clinic immediately. You leave with a complete system — not isolated techniques — that you can apply to patients the following week.

SustainHealth Academy works exclusively with direct lineage holders — Acupuncturists who learned these systems from the originators, treat patients using them daily, and have dedicated their careers to transmitting them at the highest level. Every presenter is personally selected by Dr Scott Ling.
Dr Eileen Han
20-year direct disciple of Dr Richard Tan, PhD, LAc. Worked at his clinic after he passed. Continued treating his patients. Treats 50–70 patients daily using Balance Method exclusively.
Dr Poney Chiang
Founder of the Neuro-Meridian Acupuncture system. Integrates classical Chinese medicine with modern neuroscience. An internationally recognised educator and clinician.
Dr Ru Shan Shy
Direct disciple of Professor Ming Qing Zhu. Worked with Professor Zhu in hospital and clinical settings for decades. Has taught ZSA across Asia, America, Australia, and Europe.
Dr Sheng Chun Chang
Direct disciple of Professor Ming Qing Zhu. Holds degrees in Pharmacy, Neuroscience, and Chinese Medicine. Has taught ZSA to over 2,000 students across 50+ intensive sessions worldwide.
Dr Michael Chung
Direct student of Dr Wei Chieh Young — one of 73 students personally selected and taught by Master Tung Ching Chang. Teaches the complete Tung system — Human, Earth, and Heaven levels — with a focus on immediate clinical application.
Dr Clayton Shiu
Direct disciple of Dr Shi Xue Min — known as the Father of Modern Acupuncture and creator of the Xing Nao Kai Qiao (XNKQ) stroke rehabilitation system. Specialist in Nanopuncture for neurological and complex chronic presentations, including stroke rehabilitation and concussion management.
